HI! I’m Nicole Corrales and I cannot wait to share my thoughts with you! Both lessons learned and advice given.
I’m a 24-year-old girl living in Austin, Texas, and working as an accountant at a Big 4 firm. I was born and raised near Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Texas after graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia. Shortly after, I moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, where I completed my Master’s degree (also in Accounting). For now, I reside in Austin, but I hope to return to the Southeast one day! In my free time, I enjoy working out in groups, cooking, and reading just about anything.
PURPOSE
I aim to write from my own experiences - events that cannot be wrong because they are entirely my own. The really neat thing is that, as individuals, we all have experiences that are similar for unique reasons—reasons we often don’t realize because we may believe that 'no one cares' or 'no one can relate’. I want to change this standard and encourage all stories to be shared. How so? I will start to share mine, and I hope to connect throughout the journey.
